Description
i-ZOE is a chemically curing, resin-modified zinc oxide-eugenol cement, formulated for temporary restorations, cementation of crowns and bridges, and bases under amalgams or glass ionomers. The addition of resin components enhances mechanical stability, handling properties, and sealing performance, making it well-suited for a variety of clinical applications.
The setting reaction is moisture-activated, with full hardening achieved within 2 to 10 minutes intraorally due to oral temperature and humidity. Its precise working time and improved handling properties ensure ease of use for clinicians.
