Environment & Sustainability

Committed to a Brighter, Greener Future in Dentistry

At Premium Plus UK, we’re committed to doing our part for the planet by making responsible choices that reduce our environmental impact and support a more sustainable future — for dentistry and beyond.

We recognise that sustainability is an evolving journey, and while we may not have all the answers yet, we are actively working towards positive change across our business.

Our Commitments:

  1. Carbon Reduction
  • We are actively working toward Net Zero emissions by 2050, in line with UK Government and NHS targets.
  • We have implemented a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP), covering Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions.

Warehouse and office initiatives include:

  • Transitioning to paperless invoicing and digital order management.
  • Reduced waste collection frequency to lower emissions and improve waste management
  • Limiting the use of air conditioning and unnecessary energy usage.
  1. Sustainable Packaging & Waste

We recognise the environmental impact of packaging and operational waste and are committed to improving our practices in this area.

  • We re-use/ recycle old packaging for customers’ orders, to reduce the need for manufacturing new cardboard packaging
  • Replaced plastic tape with paper tape across all shipping operations
  • We use minimal packaging where possible to reduce waste, while ensuring products remain protected during transit.
  1. Eco-Friendly Product Development

We launched our Greenline Range – a line of environmentally conscious dental consumables and products.

  1. Supply Chain Responsibility

We are continuously working and collaborating with our suppliers to reduce unnecessary packaging

Our drop-shipping model (where appropriate) helps reduce unnecessary transport, storage, and emissions.

  1. Continuous Improvement

We regularly review and update our sustainability goals and report progress internally.

Staff are encouraged to contribute ideas to reduce our environmental impact and receive training on sustainable practices.

As a business, we know that real progress means being transparent, practical, and proactive. We’re building sustainability into how we operate, from our supply chain to our shipping, and we welcome collaboration with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to keep moving in the right direction.

Looking Ahead

We know that sustainability isn’t a checkbox — it’s an ongoing responsibility. Our team is committed to continuous improvement, and we regularly review our internal policies, processes, and goals to ensure they reflect best practice.

As a company, we’re determined to make meaningful progress by focusing on what’s possible, practical, and impactful — starting now and building momentum over time
